Studio Sessions

Now you can hire Jake Burton for your upcoming recording project.  Jake is available for anything from individual tracks to full length albums.  Only high quality mic preamps and microphones are used in Jake's home studio to ensure that you receive the highest fidelity possible.  Can't come to Nashville?  Try a remote recording session!

How does a remote recording session work?
 - First you send your tracks either by mailing them or by email
 - It is recommended that demo tracks are recorded with a click track
 - A phone or Skype consultation will then be setup to discuss the details of the project
 - The drums are then recorded on individual tracks with no effects or equalization
 - Percussion overdubs are also available at the client's request
 - The tracks will be mailed to you on a DVD in a WAV format and will then be ready to be edited and mixed
 - Premixed, eq'd and compressed tracks are also available if you are not comfortable mixing drums

Prices vary depending on the amount of tracks to be recorded and what their intended use is (i.e. demo, limited release, or master scale).  Prices start at $150 for a 3 hour session (Union Demo Scale) and will be modified depending on the scope of the project.  Discounts are available for full length albums.

Full rhythm sections (bass, guitar, etc.) are available upon request.  Call or email for a free quote.
